Extrapyramidal disorders include idiopathic Parkinson’s disease and secondary Parkinsonian syndromes with a wide variety of causes. The advisory centre deals with patients with essential tremor, Wilson s disease and other movement disorders (dystonia, chorea, myoclonus). We cooperate closely with the Expy Centre at the Všeobecné fakultní nemocnice in Prague.
Counselling can be ordered by telephone or personal agreement with a doctor. A referral from a general practitioner or other outpatient specialist, a clear definition of the patient’s complaint and complete documentation are required. Patients can be sent for consultation examinations in cases of diagnostic indecision
