About us

The Liberec Neurocenter belongs among the Czech and central European elite. We perform the most demanding neurosurgical procedures, in particular the operation of aneurysms and vascular malformations, difficultly located tumours and complex spinal operations. As the first Neurocenter in the Czech Republic, we have integrated the disciplines of neurosurgery, neurology, vascular radiology, spinal surgery, cerebrovascular surgery, and neurooncology into one functional unit. The advantages of this connection are cooperation between medical teams, the sharing and concentration of top equipment and speed: CT and MRI scans are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, immediately after admission of the patient, which is exceptionally important for all acute treatments and operations, for example, for strokes of head and spine trauma.
